i. Blessings of Allah:
Allah has not merely granted us life but has given us even the sources to pass life. There is no limit to His blessings and kindness.
It is said in Quran.
وان تعدوا نِعْمَتَ اللَّهِ لَا تُحْصُوهَا (بمانیم (34)
Translation: And if you should count the favor of Allah, you could not enumerate them.
How it is possible that abundance of these gifts and blessings don't produce the feelings of love and thankfulness in a person's heart. The Holy Quran says about this:
والذِينَ آمَنُوا اشَدُّ حُبًّا لِلهِ (البقرة:185)
Translation: But those who believe are strong in love for Allah.
ii. Demands of love for Allah Jeje:
Following are the demands of love for Allah (SWT).
Worship: The first requirement of Allah's love is to obey Him and not to associate partners with Him. Allah says:
وَاعْبُدُوا اللهَ وَلَا تُشْرِكُوا بِهِ شَيْئًا (النساء:36)
Translation: Worship Allah and associate nothing with Him.
Fear of Allah: The greatest being is of Allah. Therefore, it is justified to have His fear only. Allah Je says in Quran.
فلا تَخشَوْهُمْ وَاخْشَونى (البقره 150 )
Translation: So fear them not but fear me.
Seeking Help: There is one being in this world who helps people. Therefore, help must be sought from Allah only. The Holy Prophet said to Hazrat Ibn-e- Abbas.
وَإِذَا اسْتَعَنْتَ فَاسْتَعِنْ بِاللهِ (سنن الترندی)
Translation: When you seek help, then seek Allah's help only,
Remembrance of Allah (Zikr): There are countless blessings of Allah on His slaves. In all circumstances, a person should remember Allah only. It is said by Allah
فاذكروني اذكركم (البقره: 152)
Translation: So remember me, I will remember you.
Trust on Allah : The supports of this world are weak. The support of Allah is strong. In every matter, a person must trust Allah J. It comes in Quran:
وَعَلَى اللهِ فَلْيَتَوَكَّلِ الْمُؤْمِنُونَ (آل عمران (160)
Translation: "And upon Allah let the believers rely.
